The first day there was pretty good, but very different compared to the cold weather found in the North of the states. Everyone there was super kind and they all seemed happy. The resort we were staying at seemed to good to be true, because it was so beautiful and relaxing that it felt like a dream. The only thing we did for the first day was go to the beach and swim in the pools, we weren't up to any activity things because we were tired from traveling for most of the day.
